Around 14:00 minutes into his Nokia Capital Markets Day presentation Niklas Savander tells us that the music catalog in Russian Nokia Music Store (launched in November 2009) is DRM-free, and that Nokia is trying to bring that feature available globally. Although it sounds great, it may take time. Russia may have a very special way of licensing music, so it may have been the easiest country to start selling DRM-free music. As you know Comes With Music and Nokia Music Store elsewhere uses WMA DRM.
I found also an earlier rumor where Comes With Music might become DRM-free. Again, it's probably up to each country, and how established the music market is there.
